Join the Portland Library’s Adult Book Club
July 1st to August 15th
The Portland Library is pleased to announce the launch of our annual Adult Summer Reading Club. With no registration, no meetings, and no cost, this is the perfect book club for busy adults. READ WHAT YOU LIKE, WHEN YOU LIKE – sunbathing at the beach, floating in a canoe on the lake, or hitting the open road. READ A LITTLE OR READ A LOT. Don't feel that you are limited to the printed word. The Library also has an excellent selection of audio books, which you can listen to on your daily commute or during your workouts at the gym.Beginning July 1st, sign up at the Information Desk; the first 50 members will receive a packet. Read or listen to a book, any book! Library Information Staff have suggestions for good titles.
If you’re a parent, you’ll provide a good model for children enrolled in the summer reading program, and it’s fun!
Watch for information for special activities for adults throughout July and August!
